Chad Cook


Chad Cook started teaching himself HTML and JavaScript while he was in still high school but spent most of his adult career working in beverage sales and distribution and is now currently an insurance ageny owner/producer. Chad has always had an interest for web development and loves the idea of creating something new and pushing the boundaries of current technology. In recent years, he has decided to turn that passion into a career. He began this journey by taking some free online courses but after hearing about the program at UT he decided it was time to go all in and make his dream a reality. He is a current student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Full-Stack Web Devleopment and plans to start his career on completion of the class.

Charli Spilecki


Charli Spilecki graduated from UT in 2016 with a degree in Communications and has returned to her alma mater to pursue full-stack web development. She is currently working for an insurance start-up but is excited to begin a career in programming after finishing The Coding Boot Camp at UT Austin. What she enjoys most about coding is solving practical puzzles, learning how to build websites from the ground-up, and getting creative with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and Bulma. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cuddling with her two dogs + one cat, and spending too much money at Sephora.

Kevin Cho


Kevin Cho is a 4th year student at St. Edwards pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and certificate for The Coding Bootcamp at UT Austin in Full-Stack Web Development. After hearing about good prospects in the market and potential for collaboration from close friends, Kevin found his passion for Web Development. Kevin enjoys figuring out mechanical/technical problems when they occur as well as the logic behind coding, and found software languages to be a fit. Throughout the coding program, Kevin aims to achieve profiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, Node.js, Bootstrap, MongoDB, PHP frameworks, MySQL, Heroku, Security and Session Storage, and User Authentication.

Katie Cowan


Katie Cowan is a current student at the University of Texas at Austin Coding Bootcamp, studying Full-Stack Web Development. Fueled by her passion for learning, Katie considers herself a ‘forever student,’ eager to both build on her academic foundations in web development and stay in tune with the latest programming, framework and language trends through continued coursework. Katie believes mindfulness in the workplace is key to success - a tenet she lives out through her interests in yoga, meditation, and hiking.
